Jeremy Irons - Patron for Face Britain

Jeremy Irons is a patron of The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts new project, Face Britain. The charity combines actors, athletes, artists, explorers and other celebrities, to join together to encourage young people to be inspired by the arts, and to give them the opportunity to be involved in the arts.

Other celebrities involved in this project are Sir Geoff Hurst, Sir Ranulph Fiennes, Richard E Grant, Karen David, Jane Asher, Derren Brown, Sir Cliff Richard and many more.

Face Britain is a nationwide project launched by the Prince of Wale’s foundation, The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts. It will run from September 2011 – March 2012. The goal of the project is to encourage young people between the ages of four and 16 to create a self-portrait in any style they choose, and to upload it to the online gallery for Face Britain.

The famous faces involved in this project will also be creating a self-portrait for uploading, so please check the Face Britain website often for new additions, and of course, we will let you know when Jeremy’s portrait becomes available.
