Jeremy Irons Discusses Josephine Hart and the 20th Anniversary of Her Novel ‘Damage’

It has been twenty years since Josephine Hart’s novel Damage was published. As most Jeremy Irons fans know, this book was made into a film in 1992, which starred Jeremy Irons, Juliette Binoche and Miranda Richardson and was directed by Louis Malle. In this video, Josephine Hart and Jeremy Irons take a look back at the novel and the film in honor of the 20 year anniversary.  Jeremy says, “She [Hart] takes you into a sort of subterranean world of the senses, which I find completely compelling.”  The book and the film Damage are on our “must have” list of Jeremy Irons collectibles, and if you’re lucky enough to find it, there is also an audio book of Jeremy reading Damage.
