Excellent News – Showtime Renews ‘The Borgias’ for Second Season

Jeremy Irons in The Borgias - Episode 1.3

According to both Entertainment Weekly and The Hollywood Reporter, Showtime has renewed The Borgias for a second season. The Showtime series stars Jeremy Irons, François Arnaud, Colme Feore, Joanne Whalley, David Oakes and Holliday Grainger. Ten new episodes will go into production this summer and the new season will air in 2012. Now, if that doesn’t give Jeremy Irons fans a reason to be happy, I don’t know what does!

Hi. I’m from Iran. My good memories from your films, convinced me to watch this TV series. OMG! I watched all of it in 2 days. Loved it too much! In 8th episode, I couldn’t stop my tears! I’d this feeling just once, when I watched “scent of a woman”, and completely fell in love with Frank Slade’s character, created by “Al Pacino”. Such an unbelievable performance you had!!!!
It makes me so happy, still there’s a chance for us to watch another story of Pop Alexander VI! Good luck Mr Irons! Be Rodrigo Borgia and take your fans hearts more and more! 🙂
